Drones and Unmanned Aerial Systems

Home / What We do / Drones and unmanned aerial systems

Drones, unmanned aerial systems and swarms are only the beginning. The support of tactical and strategic objectives through the use of unmanned aerial systems has arrived.

ASU researchers are tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges, from reliable power and DNA computing to controlling robots and drones using only the mind. ASURE works collaboratively with ASU faculty and our industry partners to transform this use-inspired research into societal impact.

We identify technologies that fill market needs to enable the right partners to take these innovations to the marketplace. We are developing a state-of-the-art, unmanned-aircraft-systems test facility to enable research and development in a controlled environment to expand research in human-machine learning. The facility would be made available to military, academic and industry partners.
